If you want to go with your family on vacation, it is the #7 best place to travel. If you want to visit Europe in April then is no #10 place to visit. The best seasons for visiting Amsterdam are spring and early fall. The weather is good and few people come to visit in these months, so if you don’t like crowds, then it is the ideal time for you to visit Amsterdam. Hotel rents are also low at this time, which is also a plus point. Other than this season, you will see a lot of tourists, and the hotel rates are also higher this season.

Anne frank house is the #3 best place to travel in Amsterdam. If you are in Amsterdam, you must visit this museum. The museum was previously the home of Anne Frank and her family which they used for hiding during World War 2. Anne Frank’s House is opened from 9 am to 7 pm daily the timings vary. The ticket cost 9 euros for adults and 4.5 euros for children. If you want to take an introductory 30 minute session about the history of the museum you can buy a ticket which will cost you 14.5 euros for adults and 10 euros for children. There are facilities of cafe in the museum, but photography inside the museum is not allowed.

Verzetsmuseum is the best historical museum in the Netherlands. Basically, the Netherlands was occupied by Nazi forces during World War II for five years, from 1940 to 1945. The museum tells the story of that time and what the situation was in those days. It contains photographs, objects, films, and sounds of that time and tries to create the atmosphere of that time. The museum is open throughout the whole week. The timings of the museum are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The entry price for adults is 11 euros and 6 euros for children. If you have bought an Amsterdam City Card, then you don’t have to buy a ticket.
